Woo, it's been a while. I decided I wasn't going to post until I actually colored something, so here you go. Mega into strong women and all that jazz and nothing beats a gryphon guardian.
As for a quick update on me, I got a job--I'm a Beauty Adviser, the irony-- and it feels so good to get that first paycheck. Now that my life has settled a bit I can see what my goals are-- shelter+ stable income = ability to pursue art career. Eventually I'll be reopening commissions and catching up on those prize bookmarks (all my materials are at the old house) but for now I need to do the best I can at this job and make some money. I'm viewing work like I view a video game; learn as much as possible, build up your skills, and level up. XD I hope everyone is doing well! ~  Gabby |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. I was thinking while I was recreating calluses on my fingers while doing all the detail that this sort of picture could easily be finished with a background if and when I feel like it, especially since the edges are so clean. It might be cool to do a series of character designs and then place them in full out pictures. I just don't have the focus for it now.
